 *CLOSED from December 15th, 2007 through March 31st, 2008.

(will open for minimum 5 night stay at $750 total- limit 8 guests please)

SERVICES/AMENTITIES:

• Clean linens and towels etc. (fresh linens at arrival, extra set of linens for 4 to 7 night booking)
• Free Coffee
• Firepit (please hose down fire pit before retiring for the evening)
• Free firewood for firepit
• CANOE RENTALS- We have (2) new canoes with paddles and life vests-$40 per day rental (make sure you request at time of reservation with Denny. Unlimited use for $50 total. (make sure you mention during your booking)
• Maps of property for hiking and horseback riding and other points of interest on property, i.e.- Artesian Spring
• Maps of Kickapoo River drop points for canoeing provided

CABIN RENTAL TERMS:

I'll communicate with you by phone one week prior to your stay to provide you with information on how to get into the Cabin and Barn (if you rent canoes, they are in barn)

We hope you enjoy your stay at Harvest Moon Cabin. Our cabin is fully furnished for your enjoyment. We only ask that you respect the cabin and it's amenities. (please be careful not to destroy or take any of the decorative items we have in the cabin for our guests to enjoy) We have a nice TV with a VCR and lots of movies for you to enjoy. The cabin decor is compliments of Kelly Meyer, our fine interior decorator who happens to be my beautiful wife. Again, please take advantage of the property maps we have left behind for you at Harvest Moon Cabin. These maps provide you with property boarders so you don't have to worry about trespassing onto non-Harvest Moon property. They also provide key points of interest on our 60 acres.

The unique terrain at Harvest Moon property mixes hardwoods, lush whispering pines, hills, valley's and meadows with water, (creek and springs) for you to explore. Make sure you take a walk back to our Artesian Spring that flows 365 days a year. There is a cup for you to enjoy the coldest and best water you've ever had. If you are a hiker, you be sure to find views like no others around. Int the evening while sitting around the fire, star gazing is the best in the world on a clear evening.  Lastly, we have no phone at Harvest Moon Cabin.so if you have an emergency, or simply need to make a call, we suggest you go to the neighbors next door for help (in case of emergency) or if you need to make a cell call,  drive South out of Harvest Moon cabin 1.5 miles to the top of the ridge and you should get be able to get reception (US Cellular). Please enjoy your stay at the Harvest Moon Cabin and we hope you will tell your friends about this piece of heaven when you get back from your trip.
